RESEARCH PROFILE:

My research is situated at the intersection of feminist art practice, spatial practice, and Chinese and East Asian queer-feminist cultures. I investigate how embodied experiences that existing language and social categories only partially capture—intimacy, shame, ageing, care and relational power—become public feminist knowledge in Chinese and East Asian contexts. Guided by an ethics of representation, my work resists turning lived experience into spectacle or transparent information. Trained across architecture and communication, I approach these experiences as spatial and material questions as much as social ones. My doctoral research asks how artistic practice can generate new feminist concepts and forms of public understanding as computational systems increasingly reshape how embodied experience becomes publicly intelligible.
